Skywatch Friday: Clouds Over Columbia

Jo and I kept our eyes on the sky as we set up for Art in the Park in Columbia, MO. We drove through rain getting to the show and there were storms to our north and south, but we lucked out. It didn't rain -- not Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

To participate in Skywatch Friday, please visit Wiggers World.
Thanks for hosting Skywatch, Tom.

  1. The contrasts between those white tents and the clouds in the sky are striking. I like the photo.

  16. I can't believe you're there and I'M NOT! I grew up in Columbia - my parents are still there - and I was at the art fair last summer. Which booth are you??? It really is a small small world.

  17. Thanks to all for your comments!

Annie: My wife and I have been doing Art in the Park in Columbia every June since 1991. She is a potter and I make wooden spoons and other kitchen utensils. We always have a big double booth.

It is, indeed, a small world.

  18. Those canopies over artwork make one wary of the weather for sure. Been there. No fun when the sky leaks :)
