The slower freezing mist and drizzle that fell during the morning of 01/27 coated limbs and stems with a layer of ice. The heavier freezing rain that fell during the PM ran off the stems and created icicles which changed direction as the limbs sagged more and more. The icicles ended up looking like tusks.
